MIDNIGHT WAVE is the outcome of alternative rock act LISERSTILLE’s ambition to put new colors on the institutionalized Danish music scene. The evening was brought to life on a stormy night at Radar in Aarhus, Denmark and featured a full transformation of the venue with 360 degrees stage, video art, light design and much more.

“It is our most demanding show ever. A form of power meditation. A condition. A common trance. We want people to feel they are entering a sci-fi dream – a no man's land between Blade Runner and Dario Argento's Susperia”, says singer and pianist Martin Byrial.

The event included a full two hour concert starting at midnight and focused around LISERSTILLE’s highly acclaimed album ‘Empirical Ghost’ topped with highlights from previous records. The recording of the concert has been mixed in Tallman Studio by Anders Ruby and the result is the first ever LISERSTILLE live album: MIDNIGHT WAVE (Live at Radar 2015).

about

LISERSTILLE Denmark

Epic rock music is the vessel for a desire to tell stories through dramatic composition and instrumentation. It's a four-man group and a four man creative system. The songs differ greatly from the first to the latest album, whilst a red thread is clearly present - being the progressive shape of the compositions and the character and playing style on the instruments. ... more
